The rules, measures, and procedures for the protection of market competition are strict and rigid, which is why competition proceedings are always a delicate matter. In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Council of Competition has exclusive authority to decide on the existence of prohibited competitive activity within the market.

The Council is established as an independent public body in order to ensure the implementation of the Competition Act which applies to all forms of prevention, restriction or distortion of market competition within the area of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as outside of the confines of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s territory if there is an indirect impact on the country.

Our legal proceedings and services in this field are related but not limited to:

• Legal support and advising on various aspects of competition law (anti-trust, horizontal and vertical agreements, dominant position, abuse of a dominant positions etc.)

• Representation of companies as well as individuals before the competition authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina
